Friday, November 2

Maywood Park, Race #1

#5 Kholton's Rei (5-2) will start for the Gary Mills barn for the first time.  Last time out he was battled every step of the way, and just missed by 3/4's of a length. I look for him to go all the way in the Maywood opener.

The Play:  $10.00 to win and place on #5 and a $5.00 Exacta 5-6 and 5-7       Total Cost:  $30.00

Maywood Park, Race #7

#1 Fox Valley Hotstuf (10-1) paced well two starts back against similar to a second place finish, and advanced steadily with an outside post last time out.  This is our longshot play, as he draws the rail, and meets up with a soft division of this class.

The Play:  $5.00 to win and place #1       Total Cost:  $10.00

The Meadows, Race #15

#6 Sweet Ben (2-1) is the obvious choice as he has dominated the non-winners of one and will move up the class ladder. I will try #8 Battle Ready for the trifectas and hope for a longshot for second or third.

The Play:  $1.00 Trifecta 6/8/all and 6/all/8 also a $1.00 Trifecta Key 6/3,4,8        Total Cost:  $20.00

Saturday, November 3

Balmoral Park, Race #5

#1 Rocket Dog (8-1) is Oosting's choice over #4 and #10, and made two moves last time out, but gave way deep in the long Balmoral stretch.  He is making his third start with his new trainer, and a better timed rally should put him in the winner's circle.

The Play:   $10.00 to win and place #1     Total Cost:  $20.00

Indiana Downs, Race #11

#8 Bettor's Edge (4-1) will start from post position 10, which is the second tier at Indiana Downs.  He has been closing fast, and has been very consistent for this hot trainer/driver combination.  Tonight's post position could be key as his main rival #2a Sweet Lou draws post 8, and our top choice out-closed Sweet Lou by 4/5's of a second last time out.

The Play:   $10.00 to win and place #8    Total Cost:  $20.00
