Joe Myers, 77, dies

Hatboro, PA---Horseman Joe Myers passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017. Myers was 77 years old. 

Myers retired from the racing business in 2007 and spent his retirement time with his seven grandchildren and one great grand child.

Myers was an avid Standardbred horse enthusiast and was truly one of the superstars in harness racing over the decades with such greats as World Champion Peaceful Way, past Hambletonian hopeful Fishin' Clinic, War Paint, Honour Way and Dornello.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing Monday, December 18, 2017 from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N York Road, Hatboro, PA. Funeral service begins at 11 a.m. 

His interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Richmond Street near Orthodox St, Phila, PA

Memorial contributions in Joe’s name may be made to the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society (OSAS)
