Motivation dies at age 25

Columbus, OH --- Motivation p,3,1:52.3 ($300,847) and the dam of four $100,000-plus winners, died Oct. 25, 2017.

The daughter of Direct Scooter-Questmore was a foal of 1992. In three season's on the track, she won 12 of 52 starts and earned $300,847. Her biggest victory came as a 3-year-old in the Miss New Jersey final for owner/trainer Donald LaMontagne.

As a broodmare, Motivation was the dam of Figure The Odds (Artiscape, $247,641), Xhilaration (Western Hanover, $235,969), Unspoken (Artiscape, $175,839) and Art N Soul (Artiscape, $159,299).
