Longtime USTA employee Kathy Burlingame, 69, dies

Columbus, OH --- Katherine Ellen Massey Burlingame, 69, of Columbus, Ohio, died at her residence April 18, 2017.

She was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Thomas Lewis Massey and Henrietta (Callahan) Massey.

Mrs. Burlingame was a longtime receptionist and secretary for the United States Trotting Association.

She enjoyed reading, visits to the casino and playing the machines.

Surviving is her son, Sean Massey; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom she dearly loved; and many friends who will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob Burlingame.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, is assisting the family with arrangements.
