Lebanon, OH --- Safe From Terror (Chris Page) captured her second Fillies & Mares Open Pace in the last three weeks on Friday (Feb. 3), besting American Girl (Trace Tetrick) and Igottafeelinfran (Dan Noble) in 1:53.

American Girl pushed Safe From Terror until just past the :27 quarter-mile marker, but it wasn’t enough to keep the talented 5-year-old daughter of Western Terror from cruising through subsequent middle clockings of :56.3 and 1:24.4 before completing the mile with a closing :28.1 panel for an open lengths tally.

Winchester Baye Acres LLC owns Safe From Terror. She is trained by Mike Conklin. It was her 27th lifetime victory, 15 in the past season and a half, and increased her career bounty to $674,467.

Both Kayne Kauffman and Trace Tetrick notched three-win “hat tricks” on the program, while Aaron Merriman and Randy Tharps scored driving doubles.
