Affective Action was a 2:00 winner for driver Stephane Bouchard.

The John Grasso-trained 4-year-old got away sixth in the $9,950 eight horse trot for New York sired highsteppers. The journey proved irrelevant as Stephane Bouchard tugged on the right line heading to the half and Affective Action cruised from there.

After overcoming an early nine length deficit, Affective Action wound up scoring a five length victory in 2:00 after trotting a final half in :58.2 over a track labeled 'good.'

The win was one of two on the afternoon for Bouchard.

Last year’s leading driver Bruce Aldrich Jr. had a big day, piloting four winners on the 11-race card.

Live racing continues on Friday evening with a first post time set for 6:45 p.m.
