Lexington, KY --- Freshman trotters will be on display at the historic Red Mile when the Kindergarten Trotting Classic wheels into Lexington for the third leg of the series on Thursday (Sept. 11).

After the first two legs, French Laundry and Lady Clarabella are atop the colt and filly divisions, respectively, with perfect series records and 100 points each. The current standings may be viewed on the Tioga Downs website.

To declare for the upcoming Red Mile leg, enter on Monday (Sept. 8) by the time listed on the condition sheet.

Be advised that the Kindergarten leg originally scheduled for Friday (Sept. 19) has been moved to Thursday (Sept. 18). Horses must be entered for that race by the time listed on next week's condition sheet.

While you're thinking about the fall in Lexington, nominations to the Grand Circuit Late Closing events are due in by Sept. 15. Check those out and bring the stock along. The horses love it here, too.

The Lexington Selected Yearling Sale now has their catalog available. You may download it from their website or request a hard copy be mailed. Get an early start picking out next year's Kindergarten winners.

Questions on racing at The Red Mile this fall may be directed to the Racing Office at 859.258.7670.
