Millstone Township, NJ --- The Standardbred Retirement Foundation will open its barn doors to the public on Friday (Sept. 12) from 4-8 p.m.

At our event locations in New Jersey and Kentucky, SRF will introduce you to wonderful, under saddle, ready-to-go horses waiting for loving homes. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with and observe first-hand this friendly and versatile breed. Trainers and staff will be available to answer questions regarding our organization, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to make a difference through horse sponsorship and adoptions.

At our New Jersey location, special guest Laurette Simanski-Snook, CIT, from NJ Equine Imaging/ThermScan Diagnostics, LLC, will be on hand performing demonstrations.

Come join us -- even if adoption is not in your plans just yet -- and help us commemorate our 25th year by making some new equine friends. You may not want to leave without one!

Event Locations:

  • In New Jersey: 42 Arneytown-Hornerstown Road, Cream Ridge, N.J.
  • In Kentucky: Chasing the Sun Stables, 2111 Wilson Run Road, Wallingford, Ky.
