Freehold, NJ --- The Ron Burke-trained entry of Foiled Again and Clear Vision was made the 5-2 morning line favorite for Saturday’s (Aug. 16) $260,000 Joe Gerrity Jr. Memorial for older pacers at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.
Foiled Again, who will be driven by Matt Kakaley because regular pilot Yannick Gingras will be in Canada, drew post five. Clear Vision, with Brett Miller at the lines, starts from post eight.
The richest horse in North American harness racing history, Foiled Again has won 80 of 212 career starts and banked $6.33 million. He is owned by Burke Racing, Weaver Bruscemi LLC, and JJK Stables. Clear Vision has won 26 of 153 lifetime races and earned $1.98 million. He is owned by Burke Racing, Weaver Bruscemi LLC, The Panhellenic Stable Corp., and James Koran.

Last year, Clear Vision finished second in the Gerrity and Foiled Again was third. The race was won by Bolt The Duer, who is not competing in this season’s event.
Fat Mans Alley and P H Supercam, a coupled entry from the stable of trainer P.J. Fraley, is the 3-1 second choice on the morning line, followed by Dancin Yankee at 4-1.
