Magic Tonight won at Aarjang in Sweden in 1:52.2.

This was the third time this year that the son to Andover Hall out of Miss Possessed won in 1:52.2 or better. Magic Tonight was exported to Sweden last year in May and in the hands of world-renowned trainer, Roger Walmann, he has developed into an international top trotter.

The Elitlopp 2015 is the target for the handsome trotter, who yesterday went to the front from post position 5, and stayed on to win by three lengths, followed by Mosaique Face and Reven d’Amour.

The purse for the winner was $90,000.

So far this year Magic Tonight has earned $190,000 from seven races. He has four wins and his best win time is 1:51.3f at Aby on May 28.

In France, some of that country’s top trotters met in Prix de Bruxelles raced over 1-5/16 miles at Enghien. Going into the stretch, the 6/10 favorite Un Mec d’Heripre, driven by Franck Nivard, looked like a sure thing, but he was caught just at the finish line by outsider Village Mystic, driven by Louis Baudron. Both timed in 1:54.4f (mile rate).
