Millstone Twp., NJ - The Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF) can help you shop for Mother's Day with love.

SRF's 169 horses, all hoping for a forever home, can use the help of a good mother to sponsor their care while awaiting a loving home.

With so many horses to choose from, one may even fit her name like 31-year-old Julie The Gem,  Northsong Rose,  Kathy's BG,  15-year-old Sandy's Candystore,  29-year-old Allison's Melody, or Jamie's Crown. Those whose mom has a sense of humor might like to sponsor 23-year-old Sweet Dragon, Nasty By Nature, Crazy Character, or Psycho Chicken.

Other options are Bright Hope, Lucky Bliss, or even Spokesman, or the SRF will choose a horse that most needs help.

For those special moms, and grand moms who have passed, it is a momentous way to remember them.

SRF  has a Mother's Day Message page on its website at www.AdoptaHorse.organd will post your Mother's Day gift and message, if you like, and will send your mom, wife, grandmother, or a special person who is like a mother to you a letter recognizing your gift to her.

SRF is commemorating 25 years of helping horses and kids, finding loving homes, following up their care for life, retiring those in need, and helping children in therapeutic equine programs. Gifts are tax deductible.
