Diana Blue Chip was one of four winners for driver Drew Campbell.

Miami Valley Raceway
Ardyne Ace (Randy Tharps) scored his second straight victory in Miami Valley's weekly feature, the $9,500 Open I Pace, despite an uncovered overland journey from start to finish. The Jim Pollock, Jr. trainee never saw the pylons through parked-out fractions of :27.1, :55.1 and 1:22.4 before clearing to a one length triumph in 1:52 for owners David Ehrenberg II and Daniel Fawcett. It was the second win in six seasonal starts for Ardyne Ace, who bested Stand Tall (Jeff Nisonger) and Spill The Beans (Chris Page).

Saratoga Casino and Raceway
Muscle Beachboy (Somebeachsomewhere) became the fifth horse to win the Open Pace in five seasonal Opens at Saratoga Casino and Raceway. The Tracy Brainard-trained pacer went out to the early lead and had to withstand sizzling fractions on a chilly night before having plenty left in the stretch. Dan Cappello, Jr. piloted Muscle Beachboy to the 1:54.2 win, a time that matched the fastest of the young season at the Spa. Spinarama (Austin Siegelman) finished second in the $18,190 feature while Village Jackson (Stephane Bouchard) earned the show spot. Muscle Beachboy, the race’s morning line favorite, returned $8.40 to win.
