Stitch In Time was a 1:59.4 winner.

The 4-year-old trotter came to town from the Midwest as a winning machine, prevailing in 10 of his 16 lifetime starts heading into this year.

Stitch In Time has teamed up with driver Billy Dobson and together they have gone three-for-three following a wire-to-wire Sunday score. The mile in 1:59.4 over the “off” track served as a lifetime mark for the Amber Buter trained trotter.

Live racing resumes on Thursday at Saratoga with a 6:45 p.m. first post.

Dover Downs
Lord Terror swept from last at the top of the stretch to a 1:54.4 victory by a nose in the $20,000-$25,000 male claiming allowance on a rain drenched track at Dover Downs.
As the field of seven turned down the homestretch, Sean Bier took Lord Terror four-wide and then stormed down the lane to catch Raritan Bay (Bret Brittingham) in the final stride for his fourth victory of the year. Jenifer Kolessar owns the Western Terror-Cheryl Hanover gelding who she claimed out of his last win three starts back. Crissy Bier trains the winner who bested Raritan Bay and Cash Cab (Jonathan Roberts) in the photo. Trainer Joe Hundertpfund had a big night, haltering three winners, two of which he owns. George Dennis and Montrell Teague drove three winners, while Allan Davis had two wins.
