Defiance, OH --- The Defiance County (Ohio) Area Horsemen's Association has added Rompaway Wally (Conway Hall-Cheerful Yankee) and Valley Speed (Valley Victor-Speedy Moriah) to its list of stallions for their silent auction for stallion breedings.

Rompaway Wally stands at Hagemeyer Farm of Clarksville, Ohio, while Valley Speed stands at Hickory Ridge Farm of Berne, Ind.

This is the final week of the auction with bids closing at 7 p.m. on Friday (March 28). At that time, the person with the second-highest bid will have a chance to raise his or her bid. The bidding will continue between the two highest bidders until one drops out. The winning bidder on each stallion must pay the Defiance County Area Horsemen's Association 10 percent of the winning bid or $100, whichever is greater, before the mare is bred. The winning bidder must pay the Association the balance of the winning bid when the mare foals in 2015.

Bids on all stallions may be phoned to Bill Peters at 419.298.7408 or e-mailed to trudypeters@williams-net.com.
