Aldrich and Lounsbury receive Monticello awards

Monticello, NY --- Monticello Raceway General Manager Shawn Wiles presented the 2013 leading trainer award to Bob Lounsbury and Eric Warner director of racing gave the leading driver award to Bruce Aldrich, Jr. in recent winner's circle ceremonies at the track.

Aldrich’s 450 wins here was tops among drivers and Lounsbury’s 202 training victories led all other local conditioners.

Aldrich finished the season with 645 wins which tied him for second in driving victories in North America.

Lounsbury ended 2013 with a total of 205 training wins which ranked him seventh best on the continent, but his .518 universal training rating was tops among trainers whose horses have started more than 500 times.
