Bad Man Sam triumphs in Dover Sunday feature

Dover, DE --- A change in post positions aided Bad Man Sam to score a 1:53 victory in the $20,000 Male Claiming Allowance pace at Dover Downs over a “sloppy” track on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Switching from an outside post in his previous three starts, 6-1 Bad Man Sam, from post 2 notched his sixth win of the season, with trainer-driver Jason Lynch driving, in only his second start, since being claimed by owner James Jacobs. Lord Terror (Vic Kirby) saw a two-race win streak end while finishing second. Rock On Precious (Ross Wolfenden) was the show horse. Cash Cab, who had won two in a row, was scratched.

Vic Kirby, Ross Wolfenden and Allan Davis had driving doubles.

Saratoga Casino and Raceway
Denyittotheend (Tell All) recorded her twelfth win of the season on Sunday afternoon at Saratoga Casino and Raceway. Leading driver Billy Dobson piloted the 4-year-old for trainer Rene Allard and moved the favored mare to the early lead in the $10,000 feature for fillies and mares. Denyittotheend tired late but had enough to hold on to win in a race where all six finishes were within a length of each other at the wire. A winner of the Fillies and Mares Open at the Spa the last time we saw her in September, Denyittotheend has enjoyed a breakout season in which she has earnings of well over $130,000 now for the year. Blows Me Away (Stephane Bouchard) won the place photo and Queen Of Royalty earned the show spot in the scramble in the stretch in the Sunday afternoon feature.
