Three Of Spades wins opening feature at Dover
Dover, DE --- Three Of Spades, a 10-year-old Cam's Card Shark-Triple Flip gelding, overtook race favorite Feel Like A Fool in the stretch en route to a 1:52.3 victory in the opening night feature at Dover Downs.

With Jonathan Roberts in the bike, Three Of Spades rushed away from the starting gate to take the lead, then relinquished the front to Feel Like A Fool after the quarter. Three Of Spades then stalked the leader until the top of the stretch where he pulled to the outside and quickly sprinted past to score his third win of the year. A 57-1 shot, Pike Hanover, driven by Allan Davis, closed to finish third in the $9,500 male pace.
Three Of Spades has been 1-2-3 in 12 of his 28 starts this campaign and has banked $43,455 in 2013 of his lifetime total of $745,953 for owners Bill DeLovic and trainer Bib Roberts.

Saratoga Casino and Raceway
Sunday afternoon featured the second leg of the Jim Derue Memorial Trotting Series at Saratoga Casino and Raceway. The series for young trotters had two divisions, each going for a purse of $7,500. Jimmer (Equinox Bi) was once again the fastest and most impressive winner of the Derue Series. Chris Long piloted Jimmer to a victory by getting away fourth from the rail, moving second over after the half and pulling three wide on the backside, clearing at the three-quarter mark and pulling away to win by six lengths. The 4-year-old trotter’s sixth win of the season came in 1:59.1, two and one-fifth seconds faster than Goshen, who claimed the win in the other division. The series final, with a purse of $25,000, will be held during next Sunday’s card.
