Muscles Yankee colts top German sale

Two trotting colts, both sired by Muscles Yankee, were each sold for $116,500 at the Grand Prix Sale held Saturday evening (OCt. 12) at the Bahrenfeld-track in Hamburg, Germany.

Flirt Fortuna is out of She’s A Flirt 3, 1.58.1 ($43,510) and was bought by Ms. Marion Jauss, who is one of the biggest owners of trotters in Germany. The Swedish Denco-stable bought Flevo F Boko, who is out of the Swedish mare, Shae Boko.

Floor F Boko – who is sired by Andover Hall and out of Blackberry Hanover – that makes him three-quarter brother to Kentucky Futurity winner Creatine, was sold for $111.000.

The average price was up 14.3 percent in comparison with last year to $19,300.
