Columbus, OH --- Joanne and Richard Young’s pacing filly I Luv The Nitelife apparently loves the daytime, too.

|I Luv The Nitelife has been named September Horse of the Month.|
The sophomore daughter of Rocknroll Hanover-Lisjune won a Simcoe Stakes and swept the heats of the Jugette in September and for her efforts was named Horse of the Month by the U.S. Trotting Association.
Her Simcoe win was timed in 1:50s at Mohawk Racetrack, in which she proved best in a bulky field of 12. In the Jugette she earned victories 11 and 12 in 13 starts this year and produced a North American record of a combined heat time of 3:42.2.
"She has made believers out of all of us," I Luv The Nitelife's trainer Chris Ryder said in the Jugette winner’s circle. "I was a little concerned about bringing her here (Delaware, Ohio’s half-mile track) because in the beginning of the year she was struggling around the turns. She had a little foot problem (earlier this year), but she bounced right out of it.
"She really is a tremendous horse,” Ryder added. “You can ship her anywhere and do anything with her. She just takes everything in stride and is such a good horse.
"She is not eligible to any races until the Breeders Crown."
A fresh I Luv The Nitelife should prove a handful for the other 3-year-old pacing fillies in the Crown.
