Toledo, OH--Although simulcasting action will continue, Sunday (Sept. 15) will mark the final night of live harness racing action at Toledo’s Raceway Park.
The track has offered exciting entertainment to its patrons since opening the doors in 1959. It has featured racing greats such as Mack Lobell and Rambling Willie. The track’s finale will host fan appreciation specials and favorites.
One lucky guest will win a luxurious casino getaway to the M Resort in Las Vegas. Sunday’s patrons will enjoy live music throughout the evening from the Megan Lesle Band on the grandstand apron.
Concession specials will include 50-cent hot dogs, soft drinks and popcorn. Attendees can also purchase live racing programs for just $1.
Among various events throughout the evening, fans will enjoy special guest announcers who are scheduled to be on hand to call the racing action. Track announcers Steve Cross, Sam McKee, John Pawlak, Ayers Ratliff and Ron Sobczack are all expected to be on hand.
Sunday’s post time is 6:00 p.m. Admission and parking is free.
