Rod Bolon injured in Meadows training mishap

Washington, PA --- Veteran trainer/driver Rod Bolon was injured Friday morning (March 22) in a training mishap at The Meadows and was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for observation and treatment.
Horsemen at the scene described Bolon, 54, as conscious and alert following the incident.
The Meadows will provide an updated story once more details are known.

Horseman Rod Bolon was released from Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh late Saturday afternoon after doctors diagnosed him with a severe concussion and torn ligaments in his neck.
