Illinois Senate Committee approves new gambling expansion plan

Columbus, OH --- The Springfield (IL) State Journal-Register is reporting that a new gambling expansion plan that calls for five new casinos and slot machines at Chicago airports won approval in the Illinois Senate Executive Committee.
The bill also authorizes slot machines at racetracks.
