ORC judges to hold hearing with Casie Coleman
Tuesday, March 05, 2013 - from Standardbred Canada

Mississauga, ON --- Trot Insider has learned that trainer Casie Coleman will have a hearing with Ontario Racing Commission judges next Monday (March 11) after three of her horses tested positive for Flumethasone.

Wintering with her stable in Florida, Coleman was informed on Monday night by conference call with ORC judges that Hilarious Halo, Mc Dynamite and Run On Luck received post-race positive tests from races conducted between Feb. 16 and 22 at Woodbine Racetrack.

Coleman told Trot Insider that she cannot fathom how the horses tested positive given the veterinary records, and has released that info to the ORC.

Flumethasone is a corticosteroid, and is commonly sold and used as Flucort in topical or liquid form.

Trot Insider will post additional info on the result of the hearing when it becomes available.
