Europan Union wins $30,000 Del. Special
Dover, DE --- Europan Union and driver Jim Morand took no prisoners in a wire-to-wire 1:50 performance winning the $30,000 Delaware Special Handicap on Thursday, Feb. 7 at Dover Downs. Meanwhile the 10-race win streak by Come Together came to an end with Jim Morand piloting his fourth winner on the card, To Much Fun, to victory in 1:51.2

The longest win streak of the meet, nine in a row at the track and 10-straight overall, came to an end in a $25,000 Claiming pace when driver Morand pulled 6-1 To Much Fun from the pocket and shot past Come Together (Corey Callahan) in mid-stretch for a new 1:51.2 mark. Louise Kinsey conditions To Much Fun, a veteran Lislea-Heart Of Town gelding for Bill and Barbara Kinsey. Native Art (Eric Carlson) finished third. Come Together began his long win streak at Pocono Downs where he was claimed for $10,000. He came to Dover and won for $12,500, $15,000 and was claimed again for $20,000. He then won twice for $20,000 and his previous two races for $25,000.
