Yonkers, NY --- Due to the blizzard preparing to descend upon the greater New York area, Yonkers Raceway has cancelled live racing and all simulcasting for Friday, Feb. 8.

With Aqueduct having also cancelled its Friday program, Yonkers is completely dark for all racing-related activities. Horsemen are advised that there is no draw Friday, with a double-draw for next Thursday/Friday (Feb. 14 & 15) taking place Monday (Feb. 11). Entry box for both days closes at 4 PM.

Live racing (and evening simulcasting) is scheduled to resume Saturday (Feb. 9), weather permitting. Further updates shall be made if/when warranted.
