Dontgetinskyway ($4.80), the favorite in the race, settled in fourth with reinsman Dave McNeight III in the sulky, as Dont Fool With Me (Mark Beckwith) cut all the fractions in the race, :29.4, :59.2 and 1:29.4.

McNeight swung Dontgetinskyway to the outside, just before the half, and the gutsy gelding ground-out a tough, first-over trip which saw him in the lead at the top of the stretch. A :28.3 last quarter-mile put the winner 1-1/2 lengths ahead of the second place finisher, Card Dealer (Billy Dobson) at the finish line. Wisers Deluxe (Shawn Gray) finished third.

Trained by David McNeight, Jr., the $5,500 winner’s share of the purse put Dontgetinskyway’s lifetime earnings at $190,057.

Shawn Gray and Billy Dobson led all drivers with three wins apiece.

Racing will resume on Wednesday Feb. 6 at 5 p.m., eastern.
