Peter Gerry drove Saturday in Paris.

Gerry was driving the 9-year-old gelding Quariace Stop from the stable of Anders Lindquist.

Gerry had to race from the second tier and was very unlucky as the gate left the trotters as he followed a very slow starter. Gerry was last most of the race, but made a move with a half-mile to go, but was forced out four wide around the last bend. With a quarter-mile to go, Quariace Stop went off stride and was disqualified.

"I knew I was in with very little chance, but it has always been a dream for me to drive t race at Vincennes," Gerry said.
