Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013

Good card again tonight and a very difficult Pick-4 sequence in the late Pick-4.

$1 play: 4 / 3, 4, 6, 9 / 1, 2, 3, 4 / 2, 6 = $32

Analysis:

Race 7: (4) Obsessive Artist raced uncovered and held gamely in first start since Nov. 1; she moves from a $15,000 claimer to C-1, which is a similar type of field. I'll single this one for a winning barn.

Race 8: In this wide open race I'm using all four of my contenders, (3) Come On Ridge, (4) Demanding Force, (6) Dontu Get Lonely and (9) Laguna Beach.

Race 9: This is another tough race, I'm using all four of my contenders, (1) Mystical Con, (2) Cameron Chip, (3) Captain Primeau and (4) Blomkvist.

Race 10: (2) Shayna Baby was parked to the lead in :27 and folded in last; the classy veteran mare drops and likes this track. (6) Joyful Years finished well to miss by a nose from the second tier last week. This is a pretty wide open race but I'll stick with these two.
