Coming into the series it appeared that Andy and Julie Miller held a strong hand, and the night produced mixed results for “Team Orange Crush.”

The first division of the night went to the very impressive Where To Hanover, who grinded his way into the race, chased down the longshot leaders and drew clear to a convincing victory, winning by four lengths in 1:55.4.
The final division was captured by Wisenheimer, prevailing by a nose after a fierce stretch battle with Take It To None. The win was one of three on the night for driver David Miller and was a popular win for trainer Jenny Melander, who won two under-saddle races in 2012.
On the wagering front, make it six race dates in the books, with all six race dates showing gains from the previous year. The Thursday night card brought a total handle of $1,837,170, an increase of 5.4 percent from the same Thursday night in 2012.
