Yonkers, NY --- On Tuesday evening, Dec. 14, at Yonkers Raceway, 60-year-old Harness Racing Hall of Famer Catello "Cat" Manzi achieved pari-mutuel win number 14,000, and on Dec. 20 Manzi was honored by Standardbred Owners Association of New York officials.

The veteran reinsman is third in North America, behind only fellow Hall members Herve Filion and Dave Palone in career dashes won, and fourth in all-time purse earnings on this continent.

In reaching this plateau, the "Cat Man" simply added to an already legendary career. At Yonkers, Manzi competes every night with the other gold standard drivers who collectively constitute the deepest driver colony the Hilltop Oval has attracted in decades.

The Standardbred Owners Association of New York is proud of Cat's newest milestone, and is even prouder to have this marvelous professional and gentleman gracing our paddock now and in the years to come.
