Columbus, OH --- The amazing driving career of Leo Burns continued on Monday night (June 7) at the Clark County Fair in Marshall, Ill.

At the age of 95 years young, Burns piloted the 6-year-old trotting mare Winsome Wyoming to a 2:06.2 victory in a Topline trot for 3-year-olds and older. Burns also owns and trains the daughter of Wilson Wyoming-Drama Queen.

Winsome Wyoming never saw the wood, being parked out third at the opening panel in :32, then sitting first on the rim through middle splits of 1:02.3 and 1:34. The duo opened up a five length lead at the top of the lane and then hung on for a 1-3/4 length triumph over Strong Kiss.

The victory allowed Burns to break his own record as the oldest driver to ever win a race.
